Pressio was developed by Max Phillips and published by Signal. Pressio consists of 20 designs and household plan alternatives. p > Pressio is a study in doing things in reverse. We started with the weight that's typically drawn last: the ultra-compressed black. This was squashed down vertically in increments to make the compressed, condensed, and routine widths, then hollowed like a dugout canoe to produce the lighter weights. The narrower bold cuts are influenced by the terrific mid-century horizon sanses. The best cuts are stark, distinctive, and intense. In between, 20 styles in five weights and 4 widths offer a broad series of expression. Kinds are strict and modular. X-height is high. Curves are discreetly superelliptical, and square counters add clarity. For those who choose it, a set of stylistic alternates is available to round a few of the unexpectedly sharp corners of letters like S, s, and a. Case-sensitive punctuation and delimiters are consisted of, and a complete variety of diacritics offers support for over 130 languages. And it matches its sibling family, Pressio Stencil.
