Primot was developed by Rodrigo Saiani and released by Plau. Primot includes 1 style. p > Primot is an upright script greatly affected by italian gelaterias. After releasing 3 sans serifs, we were trying to find an opportunity to create a display screen type with less constraints for legibility and expression. We started having fun with brush lettering and checking out vintage scripts from different ages. Some cool things that made it into Primot were some uncommon vertical connections and the sweet brush flairs in the letter endings.

From that point on, we set out to produce a stunning looking vertical script-- something we do not see that frequently-- in which each word set might would make a good piece of graphic style (believe logo designs, video game titles, shop windows etc.).

We also made it smart by including hand-lettering inspired functions such as initial and final types for letters, contextual alternates and swashes. The outcome is a versatile 900+ glyphs show typeface, suitable for a large range of applications. We hope you have as much enjoyable with it as we had designing it!
