PT Sans Pro was developed by Vladimir Yefimov, Olga Umpeleva, Alexandra Korolkova and released by ParaType. PT Sans Pro contains 32 styles and family bundle alternatives. p > PT Sans Pro is a thorough type family intended for a wide range of applications. It consists of 32 designs: 6 weights (from light to black) with corresponding italics of typical proportions; 6 narrow designs; 6 condensed styles; 6 extra condensed designs and 2 caption designs (regular and bold). The design combines standard conservative appearance with contemporary patterns of humanistic sans serif and have enhanced

legibility specifically in caption designs. These functions, besides conventional use in company applications and printed products, make the typefaces functional for direction and guide signs, plans, screens of information kiosks, and other objects of urban visual communications.

The typefaces have extended Latin and Cyrillic character sets serving alphabets of all title languages of the national republics of Russian Federation and supporting the most of the languages of surrounding countries. Each font consists of about 1400 characters consisting of little caps for all alphabetic characters, 4 sets of figures with lining and old style variations, stressed Cyrillic vowels, indices, portions and so on.

Design-- Alexandra Korolkova with assistance of Olga Umpeleva and supervision of Vladimir Yefimov. The font styles launched by ParaType in 2010.
