It was a time of Restriction, bathtub gin, flappers and college kids dressed up in beanies and raccoon coats. College pennants, ukuleles and "23 Skidoo" were all part of the youth culture during this period; which offered us such dances at the Charleston, the Black Bottom and the Lindy Hop.
