Remsen Script was published by 3 Islands Press.
Remsen Script includes 1 style. p > The 1765 Stamp Act ignited in American colonists a simmering wonder about of the far-off British Parliament, whose overbearing trade responsibilities they considered unjust assaults on their rights as English subjects. Soon, naturally, this little dustup spawned The Boston Tea ceremony, the American Transformation, and the birth of the U. S. of A. But prior to the Fights of Lexington and Concord, a group of Philadelphia merchants made one desperate call for business cooperation across the Atlantic. This futile appeal makes it through to this day on a three-page broadside, carefully absorbed by a penman of the period and gave through the generations of a household named Remsen.
Remsen Script is an interpretation of that penman's cool, official cursive-from its broad antique flourishes to its subtle disproportion and gently rough strokes. Perfect for event announcements, fine item packaging, leisures of historical files, or anywhere you wish to provide a whiff of a bygone era.
