Both casual and upscale, Renata includes inviting, plain letterforms, stroked by the hand of a knowledgeable calligrapher with a little brush-tipped pen. Renata has a fluid, languorous look that suggests beauty, quality, and a handmade touch. It's remarkably legible thanks to its high x-height and spacious connecting strokes. It also looks remarkably natural-- every lowercase letter consists of not only its normal connected kind, however a start, ending, and an "separated" form (useful for settings like "mar y sol," "o sole mio"; lettered lists; and creative usages like wordmarks). Renata likewise consists of a complete complement of alternates, ligatures, and swashes.
