The Rodger typeface household's main source of motivation originated from rounded display screen faces of the 1960s and 70s, but it also references sans serif, rounded typefaces found in wood type collections of the 19th century. In spite of its vintage roots, Rodger is not a revival, but rather a contemporary analysis of a traditional style.
Too frequently typefaces in this genre excessively count on strict geometry that results in mechanical, lifeless letters. Instead of simply adding rounded ends to a standard sans serif, Rodger's percentages and letterforms were produced to particularly complement the rounded style. Its organic, yet refined curves stroll a fine line in between casualness and formality. Rodgers 5 weights vary from the delicate yet sturdy "Thin", to the vaguely psychedelic and plump "Black".
.Rodger is complemented with 367 glyphs with extensive language support and opentype features.
