The letterforms give the typeface a great deal of charm, keeping a very minimal, clear and well balanced take a look at the same time. Its effective and sharp shapes together with the range of weights from Hairline to Black make it an ideal option for headings and branding. Generous x-height, cautious spacing and distribution of weights offer it a color and legibility great for long paragraphs of text.
Rothorn is a geometric member of a big type system consisting of such households as Montreux (Swiss-style grotesk), Lütschine (narrow heading household) and Conthey (narrow headline unicase family).
The Rothorn family includes 10 weights with corresponding italic styles, offering a total of 20 styles. Italic styles were hand drawn to get sharp and fine letter shapes.
It consists of a 2-axis variable typeface letting you adjust the weight and italic slant to your exact needs.
The family has extended latin language support, as well as broad number of OpenType functions, such as, case sensitive types, ligatures, contextual alternates, lining, oldstyle, tabular and circled around figures, slashed absolutely no, fractions, superscript and subscript, ordinals, currencies and symbols.
