Rumba was developed by Laura Meseguer and released by Type-Ø-Tones. Rumba includes 3 designs and family package alternatives. p > This household typeface consists of three font styles which have the same weight and design, but have been designed to work best at different sizes and in somewhat various contexts. It is based on handwriting and calligraphy and includes three typefaces: Rumba Small (for texts), Rumba Large (for headings) and Rumba Bonus (for words).

The family is based on the concept of typefaces that are interrelated depending on the differences in contrast, expressiveness and use, not on the traditional range of weights. This type has been created particularly however not solely for use in the languages spoken in Spain, hence special attention has been paid to the style of accents, unique characters and ligatures.

In a later advancement it was reached CE Character Set.
