The design of the letterforms was to complement the period of the structure which was originally an orphanage developed in 1839. Just uppercase letters were produced at very first with the lowercase letters-and other characters necessary for a font-added later.
With stylish and slightly prolonged letterforms, Ruskin satisfied its rĂ´le well as a signage typeface. It also functioned exceptionally well as a basic display font style. It is especially matched to product descriptions and placards in galleries and museums which are regularly checked out from an angle, as well as head-on.
The font styles have both proportionally and monospaced characters.
