Ryman Gothic is influenced by American Wood Types and Gothic Typefaces, mainly in the work of Edwin Allen and Morris Fuller Benton. The outcome is a hybrid integrating gothic proportions with the contrast of wood types. While drawing consonants assisted by gothic percentages, vowels were created somewhat larger, making them not only more legible when it comes to long text styles, however also more attractive.
Ryman Gothic is available in 8 weights plus its coordinating italics, ranging from Thin to Heavy. Each weight includes prolonged language support (Latin + Cyrillic + Greek), ligatures, arrows and more.
