Samo Sans was developed by Samuel Čarnoký and released by CarnokyType. Samo Sans contains 4 styles and household package options. p > Samo Sans is a modern sans-serif typeface with low contrast strokes and is well balanced between technical shapes and dynamic feeling. The primary type family is included total set of Latin glyphs for lower and upper case. It also supports diacritics of all European languages consisting of lining numerals, standard ligatures and other characters adequate for regular typesetting. Characteristic functions are lower spurs (a, b, d, u), and upper spurs (m, n, p, q, r) with distinctive wedge-shaped cuts. These parts are complemented by homogeneously created diacritics, which is not disturbing and balancing with the whole system. Another extremely strong function of the type illustration are lower terminals of the round glyphs, which are finished by moderate narrowing. The type has got decreased caps height, likewise decreased characters and optimum x-height, that makes it ideal for more substantial text typesetting.
