Developed by Dave Rowland, Sausage is a display sans and sans serif font released by Schizotype Fonts.

Sausage is unapologetically strong and bulbous. Influenced by magnetic fridge letters, hot pet dogs and 70s phototype typefaces, it is retro, however not cloyingly so.

It was a deliberate strategy to make Sausage just a single design typeface. The freedom that not needing to think about how the font must connect to other weights enabled me to press the glyphs to places they might not otherwise have had the ability to go.

There isn't a single corner in the entire font, and you 'd be hard pushed to discover a straight line. This is as soft and friendly as they come, and still equipped with various ligatures, alternates and arrows for advanced typography.
