SB Genie is a geometrically built display screen typeface motivated by Op Art. Throughout the 1970s, graphic designers began to explore graphics and lettering motivated by Bridget Riley, Victor Vasarely, Franco Grignani and other artists working in the field of optical art. The high-contrast striping produces a strong visual result that is even more enhanced by the exact circular curving and horizontal flow of the letterforms. SB Genie is created a display typeface and is best utilized at bigger sizes where visual impact is required. It works well in easy, high-contrast colours and in black and white.
