Seizieme Pro was developed by Coen Hofmann and published by URW Type Foundry. Seizieme Pro contains 3 designs and family package choices. p > In 1905 the Parisian typefounders Peignot & & Cie. issued their Série 16. This clear roman with a large x-height and an italics quickly delighted in a fantastic popularity. Coen Hofmann's drawings made for the Seizième follow the original Peignot Série 16 as close as possible. The regular font has the initial little caps, while all members of the family are enhanced, beside the varying ones, with old style figures. Likewise remarkable and inferior figures are offered. The initial series did not have a strong version. This was, nevertheless, thoroughly drawn for this digital rendition. The Série 16 and its versions for the making up machines were much used for the type setting of clinical publications. That is why a thorough set of mathematical and sundry characters are included to the Seizième fonts. Beside the accented characters for the numerous West and East European languages the Seizième was likewise boosted with a Cyrillic, also offered in routine, italic and strong variations.
