Seol Sans was designed by Adrian Frutiger, Akira Kobayashi, Minjoo Ham, Monotype Studio and published by Monotype. Seol Sans includes 10 styles and household package choices. p > The Seol Sans style provides a fresh scheme for designers working with the Korean alphabet, particularly those wanting to pair Latin and Korean alphabet (or Hangul) kinds without producing typographic friction. The options for Hangul typefaces that work well with humanist Latin typefaces are limited. As Monotype's very first initial Korean style, the Seol Sans typeface is a humanist take on the conventional stiff and hard designs of Hangul characters.

The Seol Sans style more carefully resembles the natural curve of hand-written characters. Seol Sans includes Neue Frutiger for its Latin glyphs, and works harmoniously with Neue Frutiger World and Monotype's CJK typefaces: Tazugane Gothic (Japanese) and M XiangHe Hei (Chinese). Seol Sans is a great choice for worldwide brands using a Sans Serif design aiming to preserve their visual identity, and interact with a constant intonation in the Korean market.

Seol Sans has more than 18,000 glyphs, and supports the Adobe-Korea1-2 and KS X 1001:2004 character sets.
