This is a minimalist face, still keeping the sophisticated timeless letterforms of Professor F.H. Ernst Schneidler's initial style, but without apparent contrast in the stroke widths, and obviously, without serifs.
A substantial set of ligatures and alternate letterforms, together with effective OpenType functions, give Shàngó Sans a good deal of flexibility. This elegant, modern-day typeface supports lots of languages that utilize the Latin alphabet as well as modern (monotonic) Greek and most languages
that use the Cyrillic alphabet.
Shàngó Sans belongs to the extended Shàngó household (Traditional, Chiseled, Sans, Gothic).
