Sica Expanded was designed by Eduilson Coan, Volnei Antonio Matté and published by dooType. Sica Expanded consists of 12 designs and household plan choices. p > The Sica Household was designed in order to deal with problems connected to technology, while preserving humanistic types. Hence, a typeface with square shapes emerged, however with smooth curves and somewhat rounded terminals making it friendly. The household has 3 widths-- condensed, regular and broadened-- each of them with six weights and their respective italics, leading to 36 fonts. With specific details and open shapes that increase legibility, it can be used for both text compositions also for display screen sizes. It has 774 glyphs, covering more than 50 languages, as well as ligatures, lining, oldstyle, tabular and proportional figures, portions, superiors, inferiors, and small caps, all of them available through OpenType features.
