However, it was too much of a temptation to develop a hairline version, and this expedition provided the household's lighter weights a sophisticated, elegant feel. The script was customized further to utilize linked letterforms as the main glyphs. With its unique swirled ball terminals, this flexible script draws immediate attention. The face moves and flows throughout the page and the swirling ball terminals offer a fascinating diversion to the circulation. The lighter weights have a nearly spencerian look.

Sildetas includes numerous beneficial OpenType features, including a set of non-connecting and entitling alternates, ligatures, and two kinds of end swashes. Opentype features consist of simplified swashed stylistic alternates without ball terminals, swash endings, ending contextual alternates, discretionary ligatures, ligatures and 5 different stylistic sets filled with alternates. In total, there are over 60 alternate letterforms.
