Designed primarily for editorial usage, Silva is a superfamily ideal for typographically complicated environments requiring a highly flexible typeface. With somewhat condensed proportions, generous x-height, moderated ascenders and descenders and robust serifs, it is a very legible and financial type.
Subdivided in two optical sizes, the household has an overall of 26 font styles consisting of italics. Silva has a substantial character set-- with substantial language support-- that supplies both old design and lining figures in addition to their particular tabular variations, fractions, numerous ligatures, little capitals, arrows and a variety of various symbols.
