I like the appearance that a classic typewriter provides it's letters. The inconsistency of ink protection, making characters fill out on themselves. Each Basic Things letter has it own personality, totally distinct from it's neighbour.
So when I stumbled across a old typewriter in a regional thrift shop I purchased it quickly and typed page after page of characters, excited about the fact that I might make a really special and special font style with this piece of history at my hands. Hopefully I have actually caught that with this font as I've included alternative characters, that with OpenType turned on will instantly change so 2 letters together looked apart.
Perfect for that logo designs, wedding events stationary, cards, presents and typographical posters.
