Slughals is danish for somebody who eats to much in a kind of greedy way. It came to my mind that "slug" (" swallow" in danish) is snail in English. It lead my mind to the brushtraces of the typeface, could look like traces from a snail/slug.

Slughals has ligatures for many double letters and 2 fancy swashes for the letters r and k.
