From 1878, this script by Richard Smith for MacKellar, Smiths & & Jordan is possibly the most decorative Victorian script ever produced. It has been revived and updated for the contemporary print world by Liberty Type Foundry.
The fonts were created with fine social typography in mind. Except for optical compensation distinctions, both typefaces are similar in their OpenType function sets. Both typefaces contain similar discretionary ligatures, alternate character designs and stylistic variations which will enable the user to produce a range of great typography.
Smith Spencerian is finest fit for print use.
