The Snasm font style household is an enhancement of a few of the ideas employed in late 20th Century modular letter types including the important typeface designs of Donald Handel. From the late seventies to the early 1990's, there was a logo pattern using correspondingly laconic, molded plastic forms. The Pepsi Soda Pop (1987) and Nintendo Super Famicom (1990) logo designs are fine examples of this smooth, high-tech design method. In Snasm, I used spartan, supported capitals and incorporated them with a roomy lowercase. The reward is a design which balances with the up-to-the-minute electronics gadgetry and existing interface trends. Snasm comes is an advantageous range of weights along with a set of fastidiously crafted obliques.
