Soerabaja is the old Dutch spelling of Surabaya, an essential trading port city in East Java (Indonesia). This all caps art deco font was based upon old colonial posters I found, plus a scattering of my imagination. It appears I have a weak spot for Art Deco fonts called after Indonesian cities - partially due to the fact that the nation has constantly interested me and partly due to the fact that my other half's family is from Indonesia.
Soerabaja is quite an elegant font style, so utilize it for your book titles, dining establishment menus and whatever else you can turn up with.
