I 'd toiled so long over Pumpkinseed back in '96 that I think I required a good, wild ride to shake out the head cramps, or something. Whatever grabbed me, it forced me to sit down and develop a typeface genuine fast straight in Fontographer (had never done that prior to). Took less than two hours to finish the regular character set. No other way to discuss it, however the workout actually paid off-- I believe. And now that there was Speed Bump, there merely had to be a companion dingbat set. (Beats the heck out of me.)
