Sqwared is a square sans serif type household… … with flares! This typeface has a retro, hand-painted quality-- the slight flaring of its verticals evoke the constant brush of a signwriter. Sqwared take advantage of large, open counters and a generous x-height that assists clarity and legibility, while a broad footprint offers these font styles a degree of stature and an air of confidence. Each character was drawn while immersed in a late sixties/early seventies ambiance, but there's no reason Sqwared can't be utilized for your modern styles.
