St Croce was created by František Štorm and released by Storm. St Croce includes 6 designs and household package choices. p > This typeface is based on worn-out lettering on tombstones in the St. Croce Basilica in Florence. For centuries, tiny particles of marble are being brought away on the soles of visitors: the embossed figures become fossilized white clouds, pieces of engravings are nearing the limitations of legibility. First missing out on are thin joins and serifs, then the primary strokes finally slowly diminish into nothingness with time. Unlike an archaeologist, for whom even a completely featureless stele is valuable, the typographer must record the appropriate moment of wear, when the type is not too "new" but likewise not too much decimated.

Such a typeface is functional for catalogs, book jackets, invitations and posters.
