Long-time work of a revival of a baroque font of 1720, after Johann Rudolf Genath II,
Stockmar was mainly created with three italics (basically geometrical, cursive, vibrant). This work and details can be read on www.nonpareille.net.
Nonetheless, after a couple of years of use, this typeface needed to be fixed and improved. So,
Stockmar 'new cut' still uses little capitals, special ligatures, fractions and exponent figures, but have a distinct italic, more simple to utilize than 3. The drawing of the majority of part of the letters have actually been reshaped for a firmly and strong outcome: a best typeface for cross country literary texts.
Two variation are available: standard and pro.
