Created by Rebecca Alaccari, Storyville is a script typeface released by Canada Type.

This is the redrawn and expanded variation of an alphabet Rebecca Alaccari made back in 2009 as a bespoke font for a tourism firm looking to regain the appeal of New Orleans after the typhoon Katrina catastrophe robbed it of its core industries. The quick at that time was to "revive the special spirit of what constantly made Nola fantastic for new adults, which is the exceptional mix of history, love, food and music." No word of a lie, the quick actually contained "brand-new grownups."

Storyville includes 2 interchangeable sets of kinds attracted the doodly, loose and organic method now notably popular with today's young designers, nearly every one of whom believes they will get to develop something for a store coffee bar somewhere. Well, this entire thing maybe indicates flexibility, youth, enjoyable, joy, great stuff like that. However just in case, a little care does not harmed: Use this font just if you understand what you're doing. We do not wish to go back to the 1990s. Please. We were almost provided for by that direct exposure the very first time around.
