Publisher: Wiescher-Design" Supra Mezzo"-- created by Gert Wiescher in 2012/13-- is an demi serif addition to the Supra family. I am no fan of piece serif typefaces, so I designed this one with half serifs, that makes the serifs lesser. Then I discovered, that the italic does not look nice with slab serifs, so I did just one italic cut for the typical weight.
The light and normal weights and the dominant x-height with its high ascenders produce easy reading of long copy. The heavy and x-light weights are terrific for classy headlines.
Supra is an OpenType household for expert typography with an extended character set of over 700 glyphs. It supports more than 40 Central- and Eastern-European along with many Western languages. Ligatures, various figures, portions, currency signs and smallcaps can be discovered in all cuts. with each other.
