Swarha was developed by Gumpita Rahayu and published by Gumpita Rahayu. Swarha includes 2 designs and family bundle alternatives. p > Developed in 1930 - 1935 by Dutch architect Wolff Schoemaker, the Swarha Islamic Building was originally used as a lodging for the honoured visitor country and the journalists for Asia-Africa Conference in 1955. This building has an important function as one of Bandung historic art deco heritage, with the art deco typefaces designs on it's singage in this building, offering it a more traditional west and east taste.

Wolff Schoemaker was attempting to combine the components between eastern and western culture in design. One of his works was the Swarha Islamic Structure in a circular design with rounded and high vibrant angle.

Unfortunately the Swarha Islamic Building has actually been deserted and less attentioned by the local individuals itself to preserve this historical structure. So I'm trying to raise the value of the historic heritage by developing this typefaces.

This typefaces was inspired by the Swarha Structure characteristic itself with its strong construction and dynamic, by adding timeless taste on each characters. Readily available in 2 styles, Neue and Rounded represents the classic architectural Swarha Islamic Structure styles with tropical Bandung Art Deco taste.

This typeface is highly usable as a screen type for your styles, and will fit with movie titles, publications, your timeless shops logo and signage styles, or you can utilize this typefaces as your websites headlines.

The characters of this typefaces are just in uppercase design, but it built with small caps on the lowercase featured, and additional Opentype Functions were loaded, some stylistic alternates, available catchwords in the discretionary ligatures, and basic ligatures.
