Tejuela was developed by Raúl Israel and released by Underground. Tejuela consists of 8 designs and family package choices. p > Tejuela (Spanish for "Wood Shingle") is a neoclassical type motivated by the wooden architecture of the ancient churches of Chiloé, an island chain in southern Chile; which are World Heritage Sites. This typeface has rough and damaged types however with soft strokes.

The neoclassical quality of Tejuela is due to the architecture of these temples, which belong to this style however adjusted to wood with excellent quality and ingenuity by Chilote builders utilizing a product readily available in the location. For that reason, this typeface shows the tradition of the font styles of that period, but adapted to the coarseness and warmth of the southern wood of the new world.

Tejuela is helpful for substantial texts in literature, history, art and heritage; as likewise for brief and big expressions in headings according to the occasion.

Tejuela has eight variations in Roman and Italic variations, with little caps, Old Design and Lining numbers, ligatures, alternative glyphs, to name a few OpenType functions; unique mention to the capital letters Swash of the italic variations, which serve to create delicate structures. In addition, it has 2 stylistic sets to compose border accessories motivated by the Chilote Architecture: colonnades and corners, only utilizing the numbers on the keyboard; it is very important that the line spacing has the exact same worth as the font.

Its 800 to 940 glyphs are ideal for writing 219 various languages.

I appreciate the terrific assistance of Franco Jonas, Alexis Navarro, Marcela Aguilera, Pedro González & & Diego Aravena in this process, amongst many individuals of the craft that they supported selflessly.
