Amongst the landscape of geometrics, Termina breaks the norm with its kindly large letterforms. The typeface was developed after discovering and analyzing specimens for Industria, a household created by Hermann Zehnpfundt in the early nineteen-hundreds for Emil Gursch. Something about the strength of its extended letterforms at larger sizes and their simpleness at smaller sized sizes struck home. This is no Industria revival or clone, however-- Termina is a modern take on this large geometric, monstrous style.
The numerous uses can range from marketing to logotype-- from small descriptors to pull quotes. The family's high x-height and broad letterforms assist retain legibility and readability at smaller sizes.
Opentype features consist of Stylistic Alternates, Little Capitals, Old Design Figures, Case-Sensitive Types, and more. Clocking in at 743 glyphs, Termina consists of a broad array of features and language support.
