Thicker is a type-family created for Zetafonts by Francesco Canovaro with Andrea Tartarelli. A geometric sans typeface on steroids, it was first created in the muscular extrablack weight with the looks of high-power dynamic typefaces used in sports interaction, and then established in the lighter weights where the shapes reveal some vintage-inspired percentages and the somewhat squared look that nods to Novarese popular Eurostile, eponymous with retro-futurism.
.With these varied affects the typeface permits both impressive display screen usage and effective logo style along with more fine-tuned editorial use in body text - with a natural inclination for reliable and effective marketing. Sports typography usually uses italics to add dynamism and impact, and Thicker complies with this by offering an option of three alternate italic types with various slant, made more adjustable by the addition of variable font innovation that enables great tuning of the weight range along with exact choice of typeface slant.
.In each of the 44 weights of the typeface family (as well as in the all-in-one variable type service) Thicker provides a prolonged charset of over 900 latin, cyrillic and greek glyphs, covering over 2 hundred languages and consisting of beneficial Open Type functions (Alternate kinds, Positional Numerals, Little Caps and Case Delicate Forms) for flawless typesetting.
