Toma Sans was created by João Symington and released by JAM Type Design. Toma Sans consists of 14 designs and family package alternatives. p > Toma Sans is a sans serif type household of 7 weights plus matching italics. Influenced by the geometric-style sans serif deals with that were popular throughout the 1920s and 30s, the typefaces are based on geometric forms that have been optically remedied for better legibility.

Toma Sans has a functional look with a friendly open touch. While the ExtraLight and the black weights are fantastic performers in display sizes the light, routine and medium weights are well suited to longer texts. The small x-height and the restrained types provide it a distinct elegance.

The typeface has a prolonged character set to support most European languages.
