I have actually been to Timbuktu numerous times; normally getting here after a three day boat trip up the Niger river. Timbuktu is a smallish city, literally in the middle of nowhere, with a gold mine of UNESCO noted sights.

Tombouctou typeface is a handmade brush font style. It is good and sophisticated and will offer your styles an 'oriental' touch.
