MitrozorTT Barrels is a sophisticated scotch design modern serif with strong industrial accents in its design. The TT Barrels task was born from a fictional technical project in which we attempted to integrate the technological efficiency of commercial production used in engineering and the restrictions enforced by it with a stunning scotch design serif. We chose to produce a typeface that could be utilized to push letters on the metal body of an automobile, all while the typeface being classy, and having sophisticated information that are common of the classic text font styles of the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
In the process of designing and sketching, we reassessed certain aspects and abandoned a few of the requirements imposed by the technology of metal letter pressing, for example, from the substantial application of visual compensators, the reduced strokes contrast, and the hyperdeformation of private letter components to protect a more pronounced rhythm of these aspects. First of all, we wanted both to maintain the ease of checking out for the entire text array and follow the guidelines of looks of each letter in the typeface, while still leaving some influence of industrialism. In the end, this impact is best manifested in serifs, which are rather massive and have a highly overstated wedge shape.
TT Barrels consists of 12 typefaces: Light, Routine, DemiBold, Bold, Extrabold, Black and the matching Italics. Each summary consists of more than 750 glyphs and consists of little capitals, ligatures (for Latin and Cyrillic alphabets), stylistic alternates, old-style figures, and many other useful features.
