TT Fors was created by TypeType Group, Antonina Zhulkova, Pavel Emelyanov, Yulia Gonina and released by TypeType. TT Fors contains 32 designs and family package choices. The typeface is presently # 34 in Hot New Fonts. p >

TT Fors is a modern-day geometric sans serif with characters and shapes contrasting in width, as close as possible to the fundamental geometric shapes (circle, square, triangle). TT Fors is a fantastic addition to TypeType's line of practical sans serifs, which already consists of such font styles as TT Norms Pro, TT Commons, TT Hoves and TT Interphases.

The main inspiration for the creation of TT Fors was the research study of geometric grotesques of the early to mid-20th century (Futura, Neuzeit Grotesk, Twentieth Century, Avantgarde Gothic, etc.), and the analysis of the contribution they made to the visual environment of that time. We offered ourselves the task to produce the most versatile practical typeface that draws inspiration from the visual environment of the early to mid-20th century, but at the very same time is targeted at continuous usage in all modern-day media, from branding and product packaging design to work in user interfaces and applications.

This versatility is reflected in the title TT Fors (for), a typeface for a wide variety of usages. The rounded characters in the font style household tend to be formed as the appropriate circle as much as possible, while the rest of the characters have narrower proportions. For more functionality, the typeface has rather high lowercase characters. Thanks to the appropriate and specifically chosen geometric shapes and consistent construction guidelines, TT Fors works terrific both in the format of big headings and in really little text sizes used in book printing and in web design.

In addition, the TT Fors household has a display screen subfamily TT Fors Display, which is a stylish pair for the text fonts. The main feature of the display subfamily is high contrast in horizontal or vertical strokes. When picking a contrasting stroke, we focused that the shape of the letter would not go into reverse contrast and end up being a stressed sans serif. The subtle strokes in TT Fors Show have added sufficient display ambiance to offer the typeface a vibrant character, while staying smart and serious.

In overall, TT Fors family consists of 32 typefaces: 9 weights and 9 italic designs in the text subfamily, 6 weights and 6 italic styles in the display subfamily, and 2 variable typefaces for both subfamilies. TT Fors has stylistic alternatives, ligatures, little caps (text family only), numbers in circles, arrows and a set of alternative round complete stops and punctuation marks (text family just), slashed no, and other helpful functions. More details about all OpenType functions can be discovered in the font style specimen.

And, by good custom, TT Fors has two variable typefaces, for each of the subfamilies. Each variable font style supports two axes of variability-thickness and slant. A crucial clarification-not all programs support variable technologies yet, you can inspect the support status here: https://v-fonts.com/support/. To utilize the variable font style with 2 variable axes on Mac you will need MacOS 10.14 or higher.
