Attention! TT Globs does not support Cyrillic, the typeface only supports Latin.
About TT Globs: TT Globs is the very first font style from the TypeType Beginner Kit line, which is targeted at offering designers with trendy typefaces including the standard set of font instruments of the very same quality and development level as in the main TypeType line.
The main separating function of the line is the standard number of designs (only the most popular weights), lack of Cyrillic support, and an extremely thought-through character font style composition without additional features and other superfluous aspects. Thanks to such an approach, typefaces from the TypeType Beginner Kit line are democratically priced and are budget-friendly for many designers.
We were influenced to establish TT Globs by the concept to join historical slabs with contemporary perceptions about typefaces, their uses, and display shapes of letters. Dealing with the typeface, we even wanted to make curves more mechanical and rather modular, which would be really much on the other hand with the relaxing lines from historical specimens.
The primary visual functions of TT Globs are the long screen serifs, which create a merged text image and connect all the letters, particularly uppercase, into an almost continuous dynamic chain. Thanks to the long serifs and rather narrow spacing, the result of working with the text will always be a little various, and depending upon the words you select, you can even create specific images.
In addition, TT Globs stands apart by its really large letter proportions, tall lowercase characters, and long ascenders and descenders. To blend up the rigid font style rhythm, we developed asymmetric wave-like terminals and streaming elements in some letters. Specifically, the streaming shapes of the letters GSQRasgec can be pointed out in this regard-they attract attention and can even act as an important component in a logotype.
The TT Globs font style household consists of 3 weights (ExtraLight, Light, Regular) and one variable font. Each design has 625 glyphs and 26 OpenType features. A fascinating function of the typeface is the stylistic alternates, for example, Q and R with straight legs that make the font feel more severe. In addition, the font also has a set of alternative letters with sticking serifs, a set of beautiful ligatures, and several initial icons and frames.
