TT Ricordi Allegria is a sleek and smart modern Florentine monstrous motivated by the half-erased lettering in Basilica di Santa Croce, Florence. TT Ricordi Allegria was drawn by Antonina Zhulkova and reflects in its graphics the transitional stage between the classic serif with varying percentages, gravitating towards the Roman capital type, and the Florentine sans serif. The font is defined by variability in the proportions of characters, contrast between strokes, wedge-shaped triangular characters, and the lack of traditional serifs.

The primary visual function of the typeface is its diversity and the capability, utilizing various stylistic sets, to completely change the character and understanding of the typeface. The drawing of the characters from the primary set is rigorous, thanks to which the font style looks stern, as if the inscription in the font style was actually taken of stone. And with the help of another set, we can include roundness, or perhaps smoothness, to the typeface. This is because of the reality that the letters (E R K Q J Y in Latin, and Л К Ж Э in Cyrillic) from the second set have either really obvious 'curls' or smooth, rounded 'legs'. In addition, the typeface includes a set of stunning ligatures for use in display screen engravings, such as large headlines.

An intriguing minute when working on the typeface was the production of the Cyrillic typeset, considering that the Cyrillic alphabet does not so easily suit the concept of the Florentine grotesque and stressed semi-serif.

The most hard thing in working on the Cyrillic alphabet was to produce a system of spacing for characters, as it was performed in the Latin alphabet, and to make certain that when typing in Cyrillic, the illustration of the text remained beautiful. That is why the letters Д Л У Ы appearing in the font style household are rather unusual to the eye, and the proportions of other characters in Cyrillic are not quite "classic" either. In basic, the Cyrillic set looks more screen than its Latin prototype, however at the same time it does not have the sense of historicity or legacy of the Soviet past, which frequently pertains to the foreground when dealing with the design of the Cyrillic alphabet in this kind of serifs.

TT Ricordi Allegria consists of 2 weights (Regular and Bold) and one variable typeface. Each style includes over 750 characters, as well as 19 OpenType functions. Interesting functions of the typeface consist of three stylistic sets that significantly alter the understanding of the font style, a set of bright display screen ligatures, a couple of cool icons that are appropriate for breaking text and will emphasize the visual language of the font.
