Tuba was created by Patrick Griffin, Erwin Poell and released by Canada Type. Tuba contains 4 styles and household package options. p > Initially commissioned in the summertime of 2009 for a popular North American ice cream parlor chain we can not name, Tuba started with a reconceptualization of a rather problematic '72 alphabet concept by Swiss graphic designer Erwin Poell. Throughout the back-and-forth of the customized task, other ideas seeped into the design, primarily from other Canada Type fonts, like Fab, Jonah, Jojo and Teaspoon. Completion outcome was what the client called a 'sugar circuit trigger alphabet'. This now is the retail variation of that project.

Tuba's primary design is a straight-forward mix of 60s/70s art nouveau concepts and late-70s/ early-80s tube aesthetic. The Emphasize and Outline designs are nearly required spinoffs for this kind of typeface. And the all-caps Black design is a nod to the fat font style trend of the past number of years. All styles contain lots of alternates-- a lot of that each design is almost two font styles in one. Make certain to inspect out the character sets for a couple of good and beneficial surprises.

Life's too brief. Look for sweet taste. Get gooey.
