Blue-green is a serif typeface published by Resistenza.es.

Our objective was to design Roman Capitals that were efficiently created with a brush, not sculpted. The essence was based on the fundamental brush strokes that are frequently studied when you practice Romans. That's why lots of Serifs have these unfinished terminals.

During the lowercase procedure, I was still following Fundamental calligraphy with a flat brush. My Turquoise Capitals were then changed and redesigned at the Tipobrda calligraphy workshop in Slovenia.

Turquoise consists of little caps, lots of discretionary ligatures, ornaments, swashes as well as numerous brushy nature-inspired ornaments, available via Opentype. Ideally fit for headlines or body text in advertising, product packaging and visual identities, its delicate shapes, curves, and endings provide projects a harmonious elegance and stylistic feel in unique Blue-green style.

My motivation for this typeface showcases is one of the wealthiest islands in the Mediterranean, the place where my moms and dads are from, Sicily. This southern Italian region has many unique spots: Stromboli, part of the Aeolian Islands and the Pelagie Islands, is one of my favorite locations in Sicily. The pictures I utilized were taken there this year.

So enjoy the sun, the serifs, the water and its Turquoise colors. The brush is mightier than the sword.

Turquoise works extremely well with 'Nautica', check it out!
