User Upright is a display screen, sans serif and typewriter typeface household. This typeface has ten styles and was published by DSType.

User is a monospaced type household with 30 designs, from Hairline to Strong, divided in Regular, Upright and Stencil, with five weights (Hairline, ExtraLight, Light, Medium and Vibrant) all with Cameo variations. Complexity and flexibility are the keywords for this type household. Despite being a monospaced font style, which implies there's no kerning, all the glyphs were created in order to sit comfortably in the 600 points width, a hard job because some glyphs are too narrow (' i' and 'l'), while others are too broad ('m' and 'w'), however they should fit the same width. The desire for keeping a comfy readability in User was among the key aspects, therefore we created a number of ligatures that fit both single and double space width, allowing to keep a particular concept of proportional style.
