Violant fonts are developed as a homage to Queen Violant, better half of Jaume 1st, king of Aragon, a woman of strong character, who supported her partner in the conquest of Valencia in 1238. Probably, Violant read texts in Gothic letters, which at that time underwent a stylization procedure in Castile and Aragon.
Violant family includes 736 glyphs, with OpenType functions, swashes for all glyphs, stylistics sets, stylistics alternates, a great deal of ligatures and a generous set of accessories to have fun with your texts.
