Developed by Missy Meyer, Virga Script is a script font style released by Missy Meyer.

Virga is a climatic phenomenon where it's raining, but the air is so dry that the rain doesn't reach the ground. It simply gets taken in into the air en route down, causing an actually cool drooping-clouds look. (We see a great deal of it here in the deserts of Arizona.)

.

Virga is also a linking script font with smooth shifts and extra-fancy uppercase letters, for all of your elegant job needs!

.

Each lowercase letter in Virga Script has a short stroke leading into the letter, permitting them all to begin a word with a bit of flair. Not to mention, there are 3 entry and 3 exit swashes mapped to the brackets, braces, and greater-than and less-than keys, so you can make the starts and ends of your words much more dramatic!

.

Virga Script consists of over 200 accented characters for foreign language assistance (consisting of English, French, Spanish, German, Polish, Romanian, Portuguese, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Danish, Esperanto, Czech, Dutch, Welsh, Filipino, Turkish, and more!)

.

You'll also get stylistic alternates for all of the taller letters (b, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, p, q, t, y, and z) and for typically doubled letters (c, e, m, n, o, r, and s) so that you can add variety to your work. All alternates are PUA-encoded for simple gain access to no matter what program you're using.
