Visual Arts JNL is a timeless Art Deco typeface based upon the hand lettering discovered on a 1930s-era WPA (Functions Development Administration) poster for Ladies Artists.
The exhibit occurred in the Federal Art Gallery in Boston, and was part of the arts project financed by the WPA to keep numerous imaginative people working during the Depression years.
