VLNL Thueringer was created by Jacques Le Bailly and released by VetteLetters. VLNL Thueringer consists of 1 design. p > We can not envision anybody not liking beer. Specifically on a warm summer season night there is just little that can top an ice cold brewski. And with the current wave of home-brewed ales and lagers, Vette Letters decided to not remain behind and brew its own brand. Simply so we can create our own beer bottle label using our own font. VLNL Thueringer originates from the drawing board of Jacques Le Bailly (a.k.a. Baron von Fonthausen), the German-French expert in the fields of both beer and type design. One day Jacques got motivated by Albrecht Dürers 15th century Fraktur (blackletter) alphabet, and chose to design a contemporary rounded variation of it. Although the historic context is clearly noticeable, Thueringer certainly stands its own ground. It's a contemporary techno-style blackletter with a (beer) truckload of interesting style information. Thueringer consists of a variety of ligatures and an alternate set of numbers.

Apart from the regular usages like logos, posters, flyers and headings we absolutely wish to see our Thueringer utilized on beer bottle labels and crates, however likewise cafés and hipster bars would do well with this modern-day blackletter. Hell, even red wine or liquor labels, football group jerseys, Oktoberfest leaflets, it's just excessive to discuss. As long as it is accompanied by a cold beer.
