Wendelin is a timeless sans serif in the style of the early "monstrous scripts" from the 19th century. However its characters have some very private details which are not found in any historic model. The a little bowed stroke endings which nearly appear like serifs are characteristic of Wendelin and provide higher legibility to the font.
