Whitenow was released by Proportional Lime. Whitenow consists of 1 design. p > In the year 1528 Pierre Attaignant led a revolution in music printing. His technique of once-press moveable type, significantly streamlining the original 3 impression procedure established by Petrucci, stayed in usage till near completion of the 17th century. The method could just recognize one line of music per staff, and the introduction of barlines as a common means of lining up numerous staves brought this technique to a close after almost two centuries of usage.

This font is suggested to permit the printing of music using that approach with the notation of that period. It is mostly based on a prototype printed by Snodham of London.
